About Trivia Questions Digest
Last updated
Trivia Questions Digest is a free daily trivia game and a library of trivia questions you can play online or read out at a party, a pub quiz, a classroom or a family dinner. Every question is written by hand, has a short explanation, and is checked against a named source.
Why this site exists
Search for "trivia questions" and you'll find long lists copied from one site to the next, often with wrong answers nobody has checked: the Great Wall visible from space, goldfish with three-second memories. We wanted the opposite: fewer questions, each one checked, each with a sentence that explains the answer so a wrong guess still teaches you something.
What you'll find here
- Daily trivia: ten questions, the same for everyone, new every day at midnight UTC.
- 531 questions in 23 categories, from general knowledge and history to Christmas and Bible trivia.
- 58 fun facts, one featured each day, every one with a source.
- A random question generator drawing from the whole library.
- Map quizzes: click the 50 states or all 195 countries on a blank map, plus capitals, flags, country shapes and a daily geography quiz.
- Guides on hosting trivia nights, writing questions and the history behind popular topics.
Who runs it
Trivia Questions Digest is written and built by Eren Şimşir, a computer engineer. He writes and checks the questions, built the daily quiz and wrote the tests that stop a duplicate question or a broken answer from being published. See how we write questions and how we make our maps.
How it's funded
Everything here is free and needs no account. The site may show advertising to cover hosting; advertisers have no say in what we publish. See the editorial policy.
